Hardcore Book is ready for preorder.

This book compiles every issue's entire
contents, including interviews, reviews,
columns, tour diaries, etc. All issues
were scanned from the originals, with
the exception of issue #6(where the
original was lost). Also included is an
issue of Straight to the Point (A zine
the TOH author did in the late 80's), a
bonus interview, the original TOH 7"
layout, TOH adds and whatever else TOH
related we could fit in there. Over 300
pages!!
As if the book wasn't enough, we are
including a 7" with 500 copies of the
book. This 7" features unreleased live
tracks from Fucked Up at CBGB's and
Think I Care at Sound & Fury 06'. We
also are offering a package which
includes a Town of Hardcore shirt. These
shirts will be limited to preorders
only. Speaking of preorders, there will
be 200 copies of the book that come with
an additional cover. A "dust cover" if
you will, these 200 will be hand stamped
and numbered. So preorder this now. This
project cost us thousands, and these
preorders are helping pay off the rest
of the debt. Not ideal we know but I
didn't have a couple extra grand just
lying around. The more we sell the
faster the book is shipped, so spread
the word and help us out. Rest assured
though, you will be in possession of
this book asap. We want it to be shipped
out before Christmas.
The total cost of the book to you, was a
bit more than what we wanted to charge,
but we opted for better paper to print
it on, and shipping costs are way up
now.
We know a lot of people have been
looking forward to this, with good
reason and we appreciate all the
patience, and thanks to all the bands
and people who have helped out along the
way.
In other Eating Rats news, this is
probably it. 99.7% sure this the last
release we do. Instead of doing the
label I'm just going to shovel all my
money into the woods or make a jacket
out of shredded 20 dollar bills. So
nothing released by ERR will be
repressed, so while you're ordering the
book pick up some of our other merch.

shortly be putting in an envelope and
mailing to the pressing plant. When this
thing drops its gonna be an 11 on the
richter scale so watch the fuck out....

is headed to Atomic studios
this weekend to start recording a full
length for
Bridge Nine
Records
entitled "World Asylum", 10
new tracks on CD/LP available late
winter.
The
lovely Lads
are headed to the studio this
weekend as
well to record a 12 song CD for
Eating Rats entitled "The Best You Got",
at
Galaxy Park studio. This should drop
late winter.
As promised we have new items in the
store including
Think I Care
shirts and
new
distroed music.

Lovely Lads are
recording for a full length CD later
this month which should be available
late winter. The store is
currently being expanded, there are a
few new items right now including

Of Hard Core #11(last issue) and a
Eating Rats T-Shirt, with a ton more to
come later this month. We are waiting
for a few things to come in the mail
this week including a new Think I Care

07/06/05 Welly, welly, well… We
have received and sent out 50 Mongrel
Pre-Orders so far. We are now patiently
waiting to receive the remaining Records
from Walk All Night where they are
currently being held. I know this fuckin
sucks for you guys and believe me it
sucks for us as well, please try and
understand that we at ER are in the same
boat as you regarding this release. Just
as we did with the first 50, the
remaining records will be sent out to
you the day we receive them. The Riff
Raff “Low lifer” 7” is currently being
pressed and is now available for
Pre-Order so fuckin buy up and check
back soon for show info and new merch.

05/24/05 The new site design
should make things a bit easier for
everyone. Be sure to check out "Real
Criminals" and "Low Lifer" off the
upcoming Riff Raff 7” in the MP3
section. We just sent the recording out
to be mastered today and we hope to have
the record available by mid July… so get
psyched on that. Also, we are trying are
hardest to get the Think I Care
“Mongrel” 10” out ASAP… As soon as we do
everyone’s preorders will be sent out
first thing.

03/6/05 Whatup? Anyone that
pre-ordered the THINK I CARE Mongrel 10”
is probably wondering if it is ever
going to come. The record was recorded
in April of last year and was supposed
to come out in early summer. Walk All
Night records had serious financial
issues and the record has been held up
since then. The record is finally all
set to go and will be out shortly as a
split release between Walk All Night and
EATING RATS RECORDS. We have all been
frustrated by label problems and haven’t
played many shows… but look out for us
to be playing your town soon….get in
touch if you want to book shows and look
for a new TIC page on eatingrats.com.
